I love Halloween!
One of my favourite holidays to go out on the town. Everyone is in a great mood and all they want to do is party. You can be whoever you want to be and no one has to know the real you. It’s the chance for everyone to be anyone! I saw some amazing costumes this year. Banana’s in Pajamas, Cowboys, cats, Spongebob, breathalyzers. I went out as DJ Pauly D and my gf went out as Snooki. We had a great time in Waterloo on Saturday at Caesar’s. Friday night i was in Toronto out with my buddies who were all dressed as Chippendale dancers. I bet they wish it was a warmer weekend… Wicked weekend though and I am sad it’s over. I’ll be cutting off my blowout after work today :( I hope everyone had a fun/safe Halloween this year and post links to any cool costume pics that you may have seen!
Wow… I like the beat of the song and I like Rihanna’s tone on the hook and Em’s rhyme style. But, the more I listen to this song the less I like it. It is so violent and Extreme. I think this video gives a terrible portrayal of a trailer trash relationship that both individuals need to get out of, before someone gets set on fire… This obviously abusive relationship shows so much negativity even the “love making” looks like they are going to snap at any second. Like i kept waiting for them to fight then make up and then maybe fight again but to make up again and I guess Eminem wanted to show that some relationships the “making up” part just never comes. There was no positive passion in this video. It looked forced. I don’t think it’s appropriate to even try to make domestic violence look “sexy” and I can definitely see this video not lasting on any music video channels on public TV for very long… If they even allow it…(I watched it on youtube). I hope no one was really burned or beaten and i hope Domenic’s (from lost) hand is alright from smashing bottles and punching through walls and clearly beating his gf… Come on, a girl like Megan deserves better treatment then that…
Unbrelievable wrote a great article about a similar topic the other day concerning passion in a relationship and how it swings both ways. As passionately as you love each other the same passion exists when you fight each other so it can be strenuous on a relationship. Personally, I am a very passionate person and believe that 2 passionate people can build a phenomenal relationship together if they mould together and learn each other. My sister told me not to long ago that her and her long-time bf had to learn how to fight. It was an interesting concept. When you first start to date someone you don’t know what limits they have and what angles they use and what they mean or don’t mean when they’re angry. Not that fighting is a good thing, but it happens in all relationships and couples need to learn each other and understand they way they think and act.
Robert Service quoted by Seymour Schulich!
I am currently reading Seymour Schulich’s Get Smarter: Life and Business Lessons. “Here’s a little poem I would like to dedicate to all the wonderful promoters and stockbrokers I have ever known: Alas! I’m tied to Wall Street where - Robert Service” As I read the poem I enjoyed the words and the intent but I was most drawn to this because of the author, Robert Service.
In chapter 32: Money Management and Finance as Careers he posts a quick poem at the end of the chapter.
They reckon me a millionaire,
And sometimes in a day alone
I gain a fortune o’er the phone.
Yet I to be a man was made,
And here i ply this sorry trade
Of Company manipulation,
Of selling short and stock inflation:
I whom God meant to rope a steer,
Fate made a Wall Street buccaneer.
I have a book at home that was given to me when I was small that contains all of Robert Service’s poems. There is a note in the front stating that this famous poet is actually my great great uncle (or a similar relation). I have studied his work for projects (ie. The Cremation of Sam McGee) and enjoy his writing style. I was proud to see this quote in Seymour Schulich’s book.
Test Post
This is a test post from my new Tumblr account to see if it is associating with my twitter account properly

WOW! First off… I’m a BMW fanboy through and through… But ever since the S5 was came out a few years ago i have been just waiting for a nice rs5 to follow. The rs4 is a beautiful machine but its coupe predecessor is gorgeous.
I love the M3 as far as I am concerned for the $85k it costs for a new Nissan GTR supercar I would take the M3 without hesitation… The RS5 is stunning though… It’s a tough call between the two… I think the Audi has a very nice stance and the front grill and facia look great… But the BMW looks so much more agressive. The big hood bump that implies the motor is way too big and powerful to fit in such a small confined space. and the grills on the side that are famous on the M-series suits the styling very well and of course the quad exhaust on the BMW that the S5 has but is not present on the RS5. The Audi boasts almost 50 more hp then the BMW but the quattro system is very heavy and I’m sure the light weight M3 will have a track advantage on the RS5. Basically what it comes down to for me is… As fast as the the RS5 is and as good as it looks, it will NEVER be as much fun to drive as an M3. At the end of the day RWD>AWD. I would have written more about the performance and about the cars but i think this site does a great job of explaining and comparing the two.
